Nanny Services

Nanny

Being a parent is rewarding but can be tiring and overwhelming at times. Relieve-Me offers Nanny services that support parents so they can focus on other things, or get the rest they deserve. From newborn babies to 12 year old children, we help parents get the rest and support they need. We also provide parent support services (see below).

Nanny Housekeeper 

Nannies help during the day with routines, household chores, and duties. They provide care to babies, or support older children during the day so mom can get some rest, work done, or personal time to focus on whatever their needs are. Nannies can help with; getting children ready for school, making breakfast and lunches, or whatever help is needed to lighten the load or facilitate the transition to living at home with a new baby. 

   services include:

  • supervise and ensure baby or child's safety

  • feed and diaper baby or child

  • supervise and play with children

  • prepare breakfast, lunches, or light meals for children

  • light household tasks (dishes, laundry, light cleaning and tidy-up, etc.)

  • accompany children to bus stop or school (must be withing a max of 10min walking distance)

Over Night Nanny 

Taking care of a newborn, (especially if you have other children at home and are taking care of other household duties), can leave you drained and overwhelmed. Over Night Nannies provide care to babies during the night allowing moms to get some rest. When needed, they can also provide some personal assistance to moms to help during the afterbirth healing and recovery process.

*The cost for Night Nanny service starts at: $280.00+ per overnight. Overnight Nannies provide a minimum of 8 hours care per night. You are welcome to extend past this time. Additional hours will be $39.00+ per hour. We can provide these services on an occasional or short-term, full or part-time basis in Durham Region and East Scarborough - Port Union.

  services include:

  • care for baby | child while you sleep

  • soothe baby | child back to sleep

  • support with bedtime and sleep routine

  • supervise and ensure baby or child's safety

  • feeding, burping, diaper changing

  • wash and sanitize bottles and, or breast pumps

  • maintain a calm, nurturing environment for baby

  • meal prep for mom (light morning breakfast or light nighttime snack)

  • maintain a log of baby's feedings and diaper changes

 

 Parent Support Services (support for all parents)​​

  • accompaniment to appointments

  • accompany to grocery store

  • in-home visits & emotional support

  • outing to family-friendly places such as parks, indoor playgrounds etc.

  • assist with applying for government support

  • support with building a network of care for the family

  • liaise with community and /or government agencies
